THE first day of the new month saw the valley floor swathed in a thick fog.
But if you head up the hillside it is noticeably warmer as you ascend and the views from the top are remarkable.
Below you sit the still banks of fog whilst above is a striking blue sky, the contrast gives the woods a whole new atmosphere.
