
FORMER Liverpool full-back David Burrows has set up home in the Dordogne and is even turning out for the local football team.
In an article on the icCoventry website the FA Cup and Championship winning defender says he was tired of the English way of life.
Not only was the soccer world getting him down but also the materialistic views of people back in the UK.
He says: “I’d got sick and tired of life in England, with all the politics and other crap going on.”
It’s an interesting read and sums up many of the views that I’ve heard from other people who have left the UK to set-up a new home in France.
But I’m a bit disappointed that I’m not the only Brit playing footie in the Dordogne…
