THE south west of France is dotted with pigeonniers, those slender, tall towers that once homed ready-made meals and fertilizer producing pigeons.
Now though they are proving popular amongst property hunters as they add a little something different to a home.
The Telegraph website features the stories behind a number of properties in the Midi-Pyrénées and the work people have done to restore the towers.
And as their popularity has risen, so has the price for one, meaning they are not as easy to find as they once were.
